Qualche giorno fa a Firenze in Palazzo Vecchio il sindaco Matteo Renzi ha augurato alla cittadinanza un Buon Natale e uno Splendido 2010. Io ero presente e sono rimasta davvero affascinata dal discorso e dall'iniezione di fiducia che ha voluto fare verso una cittadinanza che vuol riscoprire quanto bella sia la sua città. Al termine del discorso e dopo i saluti alle autorità presenti, sono riuscita a presentarmi al sindaco e cogliere l'occasione per fargli i complimenti. E Matteo Renzi è stato gentilissimo nel farsi scattare una foto con una delle cittadine che lo segue, è stato un onore! E spero sia di buon auspicio per il mio percorso, incrociamo le dita e diamoci da fare, le possibilità vanno create, anche se la fortuna fa un pò la sua parte :). Intanto auguro a tutti uno splendido 2010!
A few days ago in Palazzo Vecchio the mayor of Florence Matteo Renzi wished everybody a Merry Christmas and a Very Happy and Prosperous 2010. I was there and I was very impressed by his challenging speech, trying to recall all Florentines how beautiful Florence is and how much we should all believe in a real change in our future. After his speech I was so lucky as to have the chance to meet him for the first time and have a picture with him. I saw it as a great gift, maybe it is part of my long path to become a good tour guide:) So now I cross my fingers, but what I have to do is studying and doing my best! In the meanwhile, I would like to wish everybody a wonderful 2010!
